Thelma Marie Daus Sept. 20, 1930 - July 16, 2022

Thelma Marie Daus, 91, Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday afternoon at Garvey Manor. She was born in Johnstown, daughter of the late Charles and Delilia (Foust) Clark. On Sept. 27, 1952, she married Phillip J. Daus at St. John Catholic Church, Lakemont. He preceded her in death December 30, 2003. Surviving are two sons: Mark (Kathy) of Plano, TX, and Matthew (Robin) of Altoona; three daughters: Theresa Daus-Weber of Littleton, CO, Patricia Daus (John Conroy) of Rockville, MD, and Donna Daus (Henry Forschutz) of Port Townsend, WA; six grandchildren: Allison, Kristen, Mark, Stevie Marie, Matthew, and John Ryan; two great-grandsons: Peter Joseph and William Joseph; and a brother, Ronald A. Clark (Bendictan) of Oceanside, CA; Thelma was a 1948 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She retired as a sales associate at the Hallmark Store in the Logan Valley Mall. Thelma was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, The Catholic Daughters Hollidaysburg Court, and the St. Michael's Monday Prayer Group. She was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen for over 21 years and enjoyed gardening and plants. At Thelma's request there will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
