Robert J. Brenner May 25, 1942 – Sept. 5, 2022

Robert J. Brenner, 80, Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday morning at his residence. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Francis M. and Veronica C. (Phillips) Brenner. He married Anna Marie Kennedy July 18, 1970, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. Surviving are his wife, Anna Marie; son, Eric (Chris) of Hollidaysburg; two daughters, Sheila (Andy) and Chrissy, both of Broomfield, Colo.; grandson, Cory; brother, Francis (Annie) of Haymarket, Va.; and three sisters: Carolyn of Hollidaysburg, Betty Ann Lee of Towson, Md. and Bernadette of Baltimore, Md. Robert was a 1960 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served from 1960 -62. He retired in June of 2004 as a Mason with the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. Robert was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, with Father Alan Thomas officiating. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
