Paul F. Bowser Aug. 30, 1941 - April 24, 2021
Paul F. Bowser, 79, Hollidaysburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning at his home. He was born in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Paul and Nellie (Stiffler) Bowser. On Oct. 11, 1991, he married Claudia Zimmerman who preceded him in death November 5, 2000. He is survived by two daughters: Terri Grillo of Connecticut and Dawn Smith and her husband, Lyle, of Roaring Spring; three grandchildren: Nick Grillo and Stephanie Cote of Connecticut and Wesley Smith of Roaring Spring; a brother, Earl Bowser and his wife, Trisha, of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Bowser and a brother, Orville “Bud” Stiffler. Paul retired from Millennium Rail where he did shipping/receiving and was a forklift operator. He enjoyed going to the clubs in Hollidaysburg, sitting on his porch with his cat “Boots”, family, neighbors, and friends and listening to country music. He also enjoyed going to NAPA on Saturdays to hang out and talk to the guys. A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Paul’s life. Arrangements are by Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.
