Obituary For Patricia Louise Endress

Patricia “Patty” Louise Endress Nov. 4, 1942 - Feb. 6, 2021

Patricia “Patty” Louise Endress, 78, Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday evening at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Alvin and Dolores (Glacken) Kinser. On October 7, 1961 she married Louis R. Endress in Altoona. She is survived by her husband; a son, Louis J. (Beth) Endress of Camp Hill; a daughter, Michelle Lopez (William) of Harrisburg; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a great-granddaughter on the way; and a sister, Barbara Dobson (William) of Altoona. She was preceded in death by three children: a son, Scott Louis and twins, Christopher John and Kimberly Louise; and two sisters: Susan J. Longenecker and Judith A. Kissinger. Patty was a 1960 graduate of Altoona High School. She was the owner of Hairtrends in Hollidaysburg for many years. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Newry. Patty was an avid quilter. She loved playing pinochle and book club. She and Lou enjoyed annual visits to the Finger Lakes, relaxing at their hunting camp and visiting a new Moose club. They especially loved spending time with their children and grandchildren. Due to Covid restrictions, a memorial Mass will be held at a later date. The family requests that donations in memory of Patty be made to Knights of Columbus, Star of the Sea Council #4245, 324 Bedford Street, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648. Arrangements are by Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg. Condolences may be made at www.stevensfamilyfuneralhomes.com or Stevens Family Funeral Homes Facebook
