Obituary For Pamela R. Luther

Pamela R. Luther Feb. 9, 1958 – June 18, 2021

Pamela R. Luther, 63, Altoona, passed away Friday at her residence. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Donald and N. Ruth (Steele) Strohman. She is survived by: Michael, Robert B. Jr., Taylor Phillips, and Lindsey Rhodes; and three sisters: Sharon Luther, Deborah Smith Hoover, and Shawna Reilly. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Herbert, Jim, and Don. Pamela was a graduate of Altoona High School. She had been a cashier at Riverside and BiLo in Hollidaysburg, for 25 years. Pamela collected antiques of all shapes and sizes. She enjoyed cooking for friends and family, was a rabid Steelers fan, and especially enjoyed classic rock. She lived her life to the fullest and treasured every day. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.     I remember Pam so well. She was such a talented artist I'm on other things. I still have a picture of my dog on my wall that she did for my birthday. Some thing just told me to look her up and sadly I found out she has left us.
