Obituary For Marian Louise Chamberlain

Marian Louise Chamberlain Oct. 23, 1931 – Dec. 8, 2020

Marian Louise Chamberlain, 89, formerly of Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Loran and Sarah Marie (Rhodes) Reynolds. On March 25, 1953, she married Arthur Chamberlain Jr. who preceded her in death on April 20, 2000. She is survived by a son, Ricky Chamberlain; daughter, Robyn Chamberlain; three grandchildren: Justin (Michaela) Chamberlain, Joshua (Nicole) Chamberlain and Jenna Chamberlain; and 2 great-grandchildren: Lennon Marian Chamberlain and Calvin Michael Chamberlain. She was pre-deceased by brothers: William and Harry Reynolds; and sister, Lorna Gillespi. Marian was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She retired from Sylvania after 20 years and had also been employed at Dave’s Dream and Dunkin Donuts. She was a member of Hollidaysburg First Church of God. Marian enjoyed her grandchildren, cooking, baking her famous banana bread, doing crossword puzzles, reading daily devotionals and taking a chance at lottery scratch offs. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren so much. They were the light of her life and she lit up with joy every time she got to see them. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg. Condolences may be made at www.stevensfamilyfuneralhomes.com or Stevens Family Funeral Homes Facebook.

Dear Robyn and Rick, Your Mom was one of my favorite people ever when we all worked together at the Dream. She was a mom to all of us!! I know she was also loved and admired by all her customers and many friends she made over the years. She was always such a fun person to be around. I have thought of her often over the years and know that her last few years have been rough. So sorry for your loss but happy that she is now skipping around heaven with a big smile on her face. xoxo Cindy Wicker
