Obituary For Margaret A. Zeigler

Margaret A. Zeigler Dec. 21, 1953 - Sept. 12, 2020

Margaret A. Zeigler, 66, Hollidaysburg, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning at her residence. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Edwin and Elda (Ulery) Estright. On August 27, 1970, she married Richard Zeigler in Hollidaysburg. He preceded her in death September 2, 1991. She is survived by six children: Richard L. Jr. of Claysburg, Samuel E. of Duncansville, Derrick J. of Hollidaysburg, Patricia M. of Hollidaysburg, Teresa M. of Roaring Spring, and Laura L. of Clearville; 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Debra Hill of Hollidaysburg and Tina Snyder of Maryland. Margaret had been a member of the Hollidaysburg American Legion. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing on the computer, and watching westerns. Friends will be received on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 10 - 11 a.m. at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. by Pastor Erik Lingenfelter. Interment will be at New Canoe Creek Cemetery. The family requests that donations in memory of Margaret be made to the funeral home to help with burial expenses.
