Kristi D. Bender

Kristi D. Bender, 46, Altoona, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Edith M. (Wysong) Bender and the late John I. Bender.
Kristi is survived by her mother; her son, Cody A. Bender at home; 3 brothers: John O. Bender (Angela) of Altoona, Timothy W. Bender (Julie) of Orbisonia and Steven C. Bender (Christina) of Hollidaysburg; a sister, Alice K. Baughman of Altoona; seven nephews, two nieces, one great-nephew and two great-nieces.
Kristi was preceded in death by her grandmother, Edith E. Wysong.
She was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.
Kristi dedicated her life to taking care of her son, Cody.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, at Plank, Stitt and Stevens Funeral Home, 421 N. Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held immediately following at 6 p.m.
Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
