Kevin T. Cowan

December 30, 1951-July 27, 2025

Kevin T. Cowan, 73, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday morning at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, the son of the late Jack and Arlene (Boldt) Cowan.

On March 24, 1993, he married Rebecca M. Weaver in St. Croix, Virgin Islands.

Surviving are his wife of 32 years; a son, John of Altoona; a grandson, Gaige Hallinan; a brother, Kelley Cowan (Janet) of Riggles Gap; a niece, Dawn McCartney (Chris); great-niece, Caitlyn; great-nephew, Alex, cousin, Lisa Myers (John) and dear relatives and friends, Jack and Cheryl Rawlings.

Kevin was a 1970 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a graduate of St. Francis University. He retired from Norfolk Southern as a Senior General Foreman.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Kevin was active in the Hollidaysburg Lodge F&AM #220, American Wine Society, the Altoona Corvette Club and the Stoney Lonesome Rod & Gun Club.

Kevin enjoyed gardening and hunting.

Friends will be received from 4-7 pm, Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Plank, Stitt and Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery Street, Hollidaysburg. A visitation and funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, August 1, 2025 from 10 am to the 11 am service.

Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
