Joanne Wade

Joanne Wade, 93, passed away Wednesday morning at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring.
She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Paul and Florence (Detwiler) Greaser. On Jan. 3, 1997, she married William L. Wade in Winchester, VA, who preceded her in death March 9, 2011.
Joanne is survived by a brother, Russell D. Greaser, Sr. (Loretta) and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Donald R. Sr. and Ted Greaser; infant brother, Paul; a sister, Emily Greaser; and her beloved cat, Suzie Q.
Joanne was a 1950 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She worked for 45 years at the Butterick, Inc., Co. in the pattern folding department, until her retirement in 1997.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Douglas McGaffin officiating.
Interment will be in Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
