Jeanne Louise Mowery Dec. 19, 1945 – May 20, 2022

Jeanne Louise Mowery, 76, Hollidaysburg, passed away Friday evening at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Clayton and Leanore (Baker) Treese. On Dec. 21, 1963, she married Paul Mowery in Newry. He preceded her in death in March of 2004. Jeanne is survived by a son, Michael (Missy) of Hollidaysburg; two daughters: Vicki Blair (George) of Altoona and Paula Walters (Bob) of Duncansville; four grandchildren: Taylor, Mikey, Nik, and Jess; two great-grandchildren: Braxton and Mia; a brother, Bob of Florida; and a sister, Judy Weyant of Claysburg. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Eddie and Johnny; and a sister, Margie. Jeanne was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She had worked in the deli at BiLo for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and making cookies. Jeanne’s chocolate chip cookies were famous. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements are by Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.
