Janella M. “Nell” Corl
September 29, 1952 – November 18, 2025

Janella M. “Nell” Corl, 73, Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday morning at her home after a brief illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Baronner) Daus.
On June 3, 1978, she married William Corl at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.
Nell is survived by her husband; a son, Kevin of Hollidaysburg; two daughters, Beth Clapper (Matthew) of Hollidaysburg, and Lauren Trimarco (Scott) of Duncansville; two grandchildren, Michaelyn, who is named after Grandmother Janella, and Levi; and six sisters: Sally Lee of Hollidaysburg, Virginia Cooney of Altoona, Margie Daus of Carson Valley, Kathy Tomchick of Tipton, Becky Merilli of Hollidaysburg, and Angie DeStefano of Hollidaysburg.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Long.
Nell was a 1970 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.
Nell was very strong in her faith and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, where a funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 10 a.m., with Father Alan Thomas officiating.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
