James T. Eulie
Jan. 7, 1945 – July 25, 2024

James T. Eulie, 79, Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday evening at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late James and Helen (Dowling) Eulie.
He married Roxanne Douglas in Winchester, VA.
James is survived by his wife; three children: James Eulie (Julie) of North Providence, RI, Robert Carroll (Nicole) of Sewickley, and Dana Forrest (Scott) of San Diego; and five grandchildren: Kim Forrest, Brooklyn Forrest, Madison Eulie, Trevor Carroll, and Natalia Carroll.
James was a graduate of Sheepshead Bay High School in Brooklyn NY and received his bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from the New York Institute of Technology.
James retired from the New York City Police Department with 20 years of service and also worked for the U.S. Marshall Service and the Blair County Sheriff’s Department.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served on flight line rescue during the Vietnam era.
At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation or services.
Arrangements are by Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.

    Although James is no longer physically present, his legacy will continue to be in the hearts and thoughts of family and friends. We extend our sympathy to everyone whose lives were impacted by James. Bob and Linda Bryant

    I met Jim when he worked with the Sheriffs dept. at the Courthouse. He was no-nonsense with a sense of humor. I would also run into him at Forr's service station. He was a true patriot and will be missed. May he rest in peace and may you be consoled at this difficult time. Tom Forr
