Duane N. Steele
Nov. 11, 1956 – Feb. 15, 2026

Duane N. Steele, 69, passed away Sunday evening at Embassy of Hearthside, State College.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late F. “Xen” and “Louise” (Myers) Steele.
He is survived by three children: Hunter Steele, of Virginia Beach, Olivia Beach (Jacob) of Northern Cambria, and Julia Steele of Patton; and a grandson, Warren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David.
Duane was a 1973 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and attended Liberty University.
He attended Grace Bible Church, where he sang and played piano and was in an ensemble and Praise Team
Duane enjoyed music, playing the piano, and gardening.
Friends will be received from 10 am – 12 pm on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Grace Bible Church, where a memorial service will immediately follow at noon, with Pastor Kirth Benson, officiating.
