Obituary For Diane M. Long

Diane M. Long July 21, 1939 - Dec. 23, 2020

Diane M. Long, 81, Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday afternoon at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Baronner) Daus. On Aug. 20, 1960, she married Robert Long at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. She is survived by her husband; 10 children: Bob (Ann-Marie), Melissa (Chris) Ringkamp, Mike (Nicole, fiance), Leo (Tara), Pete (Trudy), Joshua (Danyel), Tim (Jess), Carissa (Craig) Baumgartner, Adam (Jessi), Nick (Shantell); 24 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven sisters: Sally Lee, Virginia Cooney, Margie Daus, Kathy Tomchick, Nell Corl, Becky Merilli, and Angie DeStefano. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lottie. Diane was a 1957 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. The family requests that donations in memory of Diane be made to Carmelite Monastery, P.O. Box 57 (2101 Manor Drive), Loretto, PA 15940.
