Obituary For Constant J. "Ski" Evanoski III

Constant J. ‘Ski’ Evanoski III
Oct. 8, 1945 – Nov. 12, 2025

Constant J. “Ski” Evanoski III, 80, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in New Castle, son of the late Constant J. Jr. and Rose P. (Russo) Evanoski.
On Aug. 27, 1988, he married Leslie R. Greaser in Hollidaysburg.
He is survived by his wife; three sons: Constant J. IV (Trish) of Bradenton, Fla., Adam J. of Charlottesville, Va., and Eric B. (Mariah) of Killeen, Texas; three grandchildren: Gabe, Mia and Luka; and numerous siblings.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth.
Ski was a 1965 graduate of New Castle High School.
He retired in 2010 as a welder from Norfolk Southern and had previously been a Blair County deputy sheriff.
He enjoyed Ham radio N3TKU, and loved the beach and his dogs and cats.
At Ski’s request, there will be no visitation or services.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
The family requests that donations in memory of Ski, be made to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
Arrangements are by Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.
