Christine M. McCloskey
August 27, 1945 – July 25, 2023

Christine M. McCloskey, 77, Altoona, passed away Tuesday afternoon at Midtown Oaks Health and Rehab Center.
She was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, daughter of the late John and Genevieve (Spencer) Ely.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen Walters (Shawn) of Altoona; a granddaughter, Jerica Walters; a brother, John Ely of Texas; and a sister, JoAnn Kelsch of Florida.
Christine was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, and enjoyed reading and playing cards.
A funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, with Father Alan Thomas officiating.
Interment will be in New St. Mary Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
Arrangements are by Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Christine can be made to the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library, 1 Furnace Rd., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
