I grew up in Canoe Creek and knew Charlie from his friendship with my brother Joe Helsley. I have fond memories of him being around and he was always nice to me. He recently got back in contact with my brother who lived in Michigan. Charlie traveled to Michigan to visit my brother and they got reacquainted. My brother passed away two years ago, but Charlie made my brother's last memories happy one's. I hope they are back together.
